The first thing you'll notice is the Kraftmaid Solid Cherry Cabinetry that has an all-plywood base. The wall cabinets have matching end panels for all-exposed sides for both the base and wall. The Husk color is complemented by the Sonata Husk Cherry Suede door styles for a modern layout.

We also installed Quartzite countertops and a matching backsplash. There's a white farmhouse sink and a black-vented kitchen range with a hood that is smudge-proof.

The centerpiece of the room is a 60"x24" island with two large pull-out drawers for pots and pans and a microwave installed for easy access.

To complete the room, we replaced all the kitchen windows with Atrium double-hung units and installed can lighting and under-counter lighting to distribute a warm radiant lighting effect.

Finally, we refinished the hardwood floors in the kitchen and continued that work across the first and second floors to create a consistent color and finish throughout this beautiful home.
